Membership
The DAR is a service organization. Members contributed over 20 million volunteer hours in the past year to honor the legacy of our Patriot Ancestors through historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
In addition to supporting DAR service projects, NSDAR membership dues and donations maintain the headquarters and resources at the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution headquarters, Washington, D.C. Each year, William P. Duval Chapter, NSDAR, members attend Continental Congress to represent their chapter in national elections and take advantage of NSDAR resources.
NSDAR Resources
Encompassing an entire city block in Washington, D.C., NSDAR headquarters house one the nation’s premier genealogical libraries, one of the foremost collections of pre-industrial American decorative arts, and Washington, D.C.’s largest concert hall. (This may just be the most significant landmark in the world owned exclusively by women.)
